Mine is still original S&W 3000 with the light polymer buttstock and foreend; and I'll have to wait until Christmas to deck her out but I plan to do the following:

1. Refinish her in the same OD green she's finished in now.
2. Give her the pistol grip buttstock.
3. Get a strap for her.

I haven't really come up with a lot of other ideas, but I suspect after a few days of this thread, I'll have plenty. :D

Was my nice Remington 870 Express, but the barrel was really too long for HD, and I didn't want to start modding it. I just bought this Hawk Model 982 to start modding. It's an 870 clone with an 18" barrel and ghost ring sights. They've been getting good reviews under the NEF Pardner Pump brand name the last few years. Not sure if I'm going to just go with a pistol grip or a collapsible stock. Will mount a tri-rail on the mag tube and put a light on there. Don't think I'm up for a holo sight...

They tend to have a problem extracting 3"inch shells and the actions bind a bit until they are broken in properly but once they are proven after 500 or so rounds fired with perfect function its a good choice for the dollar.

Nice trenchgun!

I missed out on a local deal for a Police type 870 (money was tight for the Show). IF, and IF, that deal comes around again, I am getting that!!
