have been using hogue handall universal handgrips for quite sometime I have one on all my HP's except my 380 I found a Uncle Mikes/Butler Creek Grip on it. all the grips I have have stayed put perfectly. While at my little shooting area they other day I was running last box of break-in ammo (Blazer Brass and Alloy) the JHP is 500 rnds and NO Jams FTF's FTE's as I expected. I tend to baby then during the break-in Period....anyway I could'nt get the hogue to grab and hold on to a spot I like to bring down lower because I have larger hands well every 2nd or 3rd empty mag I was having to readjust it back towards the bottom of the handle this is not like them so I pulled it off to check for Moisture maybe making it slide like that nope bone dry so I went back to my local gunshop and my favorite employee there told me that Hogue makes a Stick Kit thats a roll of tape to go around where you want your grip and a sticky solution thats supposed to dry out and hold it in place. well I followed instuctions perfect put it in place and put it up to dry and cure. After the proper amount of time I got it down along with a box Golden Sabers and went to the range/personal shooting area. I put two mags through it. and no change it was still sliding to the top almost compressing the magazine Release aggrivated I just put it back in place and took it home to let it cure some more hoping it just hadn't finished drying yet. The Hogue Grips are in every other case exceptional products they are just the thing for HP's. Pair them with a set of Leather steal shot gloves from cheaperthandirt.com 10.00$ a pair weighing 10 OZ each they are great shooting gloves they make the 45 recoil feel like the recoil on the C9. ^__^

P.S ill update about the Sticky solution....

Well no go on the Sticky Solution Could not get it to dry and it did not make it stay in place so hate to say but the Hogue Stick Kit did not seem to halp maybe the solution was no good maybe expired if that CAN happen...I followed direction exactly but my local gun shop has tons of Hogue grips. The shop keep asked if I had put it on another pistol before putting it on the JHP and nope out of the package onto the HP. So I Stripped off the grip and the tape with the solution on it cleaned the handle and put a brand new one on it. I suppose ill have to just start readjusting everytime. Has anyone else had this problem with the Hogue grip on the JHP? Not staying in place that is.

I haven't had the problem with my 995 or any other gun. However you could put some grip tape underneath the slip on to see if that will hold her in place.
