If you have a No-Name Brand item (Any Item used for any mission) which has given you real value for the dollar when compared to Hi-Dollar alternatives list it here.

A Craftsman 5 led mini flashlight from Sears, about $15 vs those $60 and up lights.

Just about every tool I buy from Harbor frieght.
My welder has paid itself more times than any other tool but they all beat any brand from sears or what not in price, and all have to go threw the paces of a PO'ed idiot useing them. Drop test is nice but I tend to prefer the throw test. LOL

I had a generic, no name knife that I used for 15 years or so. It was given to me by a friend as a hunting knife. It's got a 440 stainless blade, plastic handle and a cheap cammo scabbard and a sharpening stone. To date, I have skinned/cleaned about 20 deer with that knife. A few years ago, the handle finally broke as I was cutting through the pelvis of a deer to separate the hindquarters.... Lost the pieces of it in a move. Loved that knife, may it rest in peace/pieces.

Here is a knife that I have in my BOB's and scattered in with all my gear. It is a good value for the money and the edge holds up well . The handles are well thought out and I have cleaned deer with it and it dosn't slip when your hands are cold, bloody , and wet .

Spot, That looks almost like it was intended as a dive knife. ...If it had serrations, I would swear it was so. Looks cool! And for $10, I'm seriously considering it. Thanks for the link.

Looks like a nice knife, and the price is right.

When it comes to boots I would say those.. Best contract boots ever:
http://www.asmc.de/en/Footwear/Boots/Bu ... new-p.html
If you happen to be in Europe you can buy them pretty cheap new... I got mine for 100$(mind 100Euro is a lot more than that).
They have enough cushion in heel for a 100KG person with backpack(of huge importance to me, it seems no one produces boots for heavy persons this days), they are made only from two pieces of quality 2.5mm leather, stitches are glued, tongue is stitched to boot almost all way up etc etc etc etc, they are known from long life in all kinds of use, they are little warm although they don't have any insulation...
