FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE

1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a Subject. Smile
2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.
3. Glock: The original point and click interface.
4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.
5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?
6. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause-misspelled words.
7. Free Men Do not ask permission to bear arms.

Announcement: Is it legal to carry in the car this way???
Posted: Sig Man @ Tue Mar 04, 2008 12:04 pm
Currently I carry my Bersa 380 in my car right between my seat and my console. (See pics) I do have a CCP and usually have another bug on my person. However, I like to keep my Bersa where I can get to it ASAP if needed. (To avoid a carjacking or whatever) But it's not exactly concealed... Is this legal? I really don't want to be breaking any laws. I couldn't find anything pertaining to this issue. BTW, I live in Florida if that matters.

Posted: RU Krazy @ Thu Feb 28, 2008 12:26 pm
Has anyone else seen the reports that on Feb 14 the US and Canada signed an agreement to support each other during civil unrest . (google it, interesting stuff!)

Canadian troops would not be troubled with this law and would not hesitate ...

Announcement: Recall Game
Posted: warwemust @ Sun Feb 24, 2008 11:03 am
When I am out and about with my sons we play recall games. We quiz one another on the environment and its surroundings. For example; if walking downtown, we ask questions about the last block. What was the address on the large white sign on the left? How many people were walking on the sidewalk? What color hat was the man wearing who crossed the road at the last intersection? These games keep you sharp.

Announcement: Where to Bug Out To?
Posted: Francis @ Tue Jan 08, 2008 3:30 am
1st let me say, that as a person raised in farm country, next to a gravel road a 1/4 mile from a creek, the outdoors is not unknown to me. Having spent time in the Armed forces, (USMC/USAF/USAFR/NYANG) I have had the chance to live in alot of different places, good and bad, urban and rural.
With this said, places to "bug out to" is shrinking. Years ago, a 45 minute drive would put you away from an urban area. If you were an avid outdoor activity type, you would know where water, fish,...
