I really wanted one of these for backpacking. Finally someone at the range let me shoot theirs and i honestly thought it was kinda "toylike". It felt plasticky and cheaply built. I would feel hesitant putting it to hard use. I'm not a lefty, but that would cause some bad armpit issues for the southpaws. I also really dug the SU-16, and I got the same feeling.
Although the 995 is plasticky too, but it's rock solid and if i bang it up, i wouldn't think twice about it.

I have both the 9mm and .40S&W version of the Kel-Tec Sub-2000, while I also feel they are a bit light of construction for hard use they are fine for light range and vehicle use. I can live with the frail design but those stock sights just plain suck! I wish there was a better option sight wise but other then that the 9mm is decent as a close combat support weapon with Hi-Cap 33rd Glock Magazines.

I think Suggested Retail Price is around $400 or less. I think you can find one for a better price than that though.

I was in AZ last week and J&G had a .40 for $289 if I remember right. I think it was new. Call them if you think it's a deal--I know they will ship to your dealer.

I have one with the gLock mag in 40. It is very lightweight and looks very spartan.

I was having trouble locating a hp carbine in 40 to match my 9car. So I got this one.

It shoots well, is easy to clean the bore as with it folds, you have both the breach and muzzle open.

Now I have a second weapon that shoots my gLock mags and it folds very compact. I think it would fit into a computer bag.

No time to test velocity or accuracy yet.

Like most cheaper weapons it looks so. I don't like the charging handle location.

Rate of fire is as fast as you can pull the trigger after cycle time. Accuracy is so-so and you may have to see which load it likes best. I use one as a truck gun and during cross county travel.

I have the 9mm Beretta gripped SUB-2000, and like it very much. It is so compact and easy to carry around. You can get good mec-gar 20 round mags for it, too.

If I was to buy one, I'd get the glock handle so it would take the 33 round mags. Nothing like having 99 +1 rounds in 3 magazines ready to go at a moments notice.
