Suarez International

This is a link to Suarez International's main website. Gabe Saurez is a respected tactical trainer and outfitter, and I've become a big fan of his .
His video on the tactical usage of the AK rifles is fantastic. He also hosts live training schools for a fee. Great training, great website, and great info

You click on a website and the first thing that pops up is a guy pointing a gun at you?

Instant violation of the cardinal rule of gun handling AND tatical training.

This is not cool.

Did you even bother to check out the info on the site and then base an opinion on that, or did you just decide to pass judgement based soley on the front page of the site and then come back here and post as you did?

I will not take advisement from a person that willfully violates the prime directive of gun handling.

But we are not talking about MY actions, we are talking about HIS actions. Do not try to come back at me because I will not accept HIS irresponsible, unsafe and dangerous actions.

He was not trained to do that by the military. He was not trained to do that by the police academy of any state. He was not trained to do that by any legitimate agency on the face of the earth.

If those agencies did not train him, then who did?

If he forgot the prime directive of training, how can he be trusted to retain the remainder of his training and transfer it to others.

And it is just a pi$$ poor example! It does not impress anyone with half a brain cell and turns off the interest of those that have more than one brain cell.

Ok fine. But you don't have to be a jerk about it.

I've heard good and bad about him but have no first hand experience.
As for the pic on the website, he being a business man brobably has no idea as he probably has a web designer do it for him.
Another thing to consider is that perhaps he didn't think of it in the same way as RU if he did see it.
I've heard good and bad about all of the major training schools.
I do think that Gabe comes across as somewhat abrasive in his writings but everyone has their own style.

I've got a few of his courses on DVD and 2 friends on mine (LEOs) have been through his school.
I found it informative.
And you're right about his site, he probably doesn't even realize that it's like that.
And 45ACP, thank you for being polite about this post.
You have always been polite in your posts, here and at HPFF. Some folks could learn a lesson from you in proper forum etiquette.
